Kochi, May 11, 2025 – PPIJ Kochi is holding the flagship program JEJAK (Kochi Education Window and Academic Network) for the second time with the theme “Research in Japan: Lessons, Struggles, and Publishing Wins.” This activity will be held online via the Zoom application on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at 15:00 Japan time (JST).
JEJAK Vol. 2 presents Annisa Indah Reza, Ph.D. , as the main speaker. She is an alumna of Kochi University of Technology in Chemical Engineering and former Chair of PPIJ Kochi for the 2019–2020 period. In this session, Annisa shares her research journey in Japan—from initial challenges as an international student, the academic adaptation process, to strategies for penetrating internationally reputable journals.
The event was attended by participants from various backgrounds, ranging from active students, alumni, to lecturers who were interested in understanding more deeply the dynamics of research in Japan and the competitive scientific publication process. The enthusiasm of the participants was evident from the interactive discussions and critical questions that emerged during the session.
This activity is supported by PPI Japan, PPIJ Korda Shikoku, PPIJ Ehime, and PPIJ Kagawa, as a form of cross-regional collaboration to strengthen academic networks and share inspiration among Indonesian students in Japan. This activity aims to open the insights of Indonesian students about the world of research in Japan, as well as provide inspiration and concrete strategies in compiling and publishing scientific articles globally.
With activities such as JEJAK, PPIJ Kochi hopes to continue to be a bridge of information, inspiration, and collaboration for Indonesian students in Japan and prospective Indonesian students in the future.
PPIJ Kochi: Together, Empowered and Sustainable.
